2019 Acrylic on canvas 756 x 505 mm (30 x 20 inches) sold
This is the newly-rebuilt wharf at Murrays Bay, North Shore, Auckland. It is once again popular with swimmers on hot days, just as it was when I was a kid growing up in this area. I have jumped off the wharf myself many times, most recently in January 2019 (when I completed ten jumps in one session). The volcano in the background is Rangitoto.
The painting is painted around the edges, fitted with a hanging wire and ready to hang on the wall.
