This is an experimental new style of painting, using pour-on techniques for the background, cat print, and Chinese characters.

The large characters say “I love cats”. (Pronounced ‘Wo ai mao’)
The smaller characters in the painting say:
”All cats are very cute.”
”Cats eat fish.”
”I have cat.”
”My cat is very beautiful.”
”I love cats. Cat. Do you love cats?”

I have started learning Mandarin Chinese this year, and I am enjoying the characters. That is the neighbour’s cat that has wandered into this painting.
